The Homes LabWhether you are planning your first house or pricing a build, The Homes Lab helps you know the numbers before you start. Free to join, free to explore.
The Homes Lab helps you plan a build. Open today: Design & Estimate, Designs and Community. Get an instant estimate with a full BOQ and a 3D model, find a ready design, and learn from people who build — all under one roof.
Yes. Creating an account is free and gives you full access to Design & Estimate, Designs and Community. Fees apply only when you buy a design or choose to promote a listing.
Anyone, anywhere can join, read and share in the Community and browse designs. The quick estimate uses Kenyan building rates in KES; the full Design & Estimate tool lets you set your own rates for any country.
You can reach the support team through the Contact page or via the Community section. Listing-specific concerns such as incorrect information or suspected fraud can be reported using the report button on each listing page.
The Designs module covers Architectural Plans and Structural Plans for residential, commercial, and mixed-use building types. Designers upload their plans, set a price, and buyers can purchase digital copies or contact the designer for modifications.
Your dashboard shows everything you publish in one place — estimates, designs or posts. You can edit, pause, promote or delete without switching accounts.
The Community lets you publish articles, start discussions, share renovation tips, ask questions, and connect with other members. You can favourite and bookmark posts, join topic discussions, and build a following around your expertise.
